Hi! My name is Yana Fortep. I am a singer, composer, and a certified kundalini yoga teacher.
This Sunday we are going to dive into kundalini yoga and me and Kawa will help you to go deeper by creating a sacred sound space by playing and singing for you🙏🏻
Kundalini Yoga – is a yoga of awareness.
It is a combination of 22 types of yoga together.
It is a dynamic and powerful tool designed to give you an experience of your soul.
Kundalini Yoga is a yoga for people who have to cope with daily challenges and stresses with jobs, with raising families, and managing businesses. It is a path for everyone who wants the skills to cope successfully with the challenges of our times.
We use different techniques( breath, asanas, body locks, mudras( hand postures), mantras, visualisation to help our body relax, restore, regenerate cells, rejuvenate our nervous system, release energy blockages and stress, gain self confidence, open up hearts, feel peace and love.
On Sunday 18th we will learn how to breathe consciously, how to get connection with our body and calm the mind by practicing pranayama.
We will practise a special kriya ( set of exercises), what works from the base of the spine to the top. All 26 vertebrae will receive stimulation and all the chakras receive a burst of energy.
We will experience a relaxation with sound healing, following by a meditation to open up our hearts.

December 7th - I am performing at the Garden Gathering Festival for women and children. We will sing mantras creating them by our voices and clups using magical instrument.
November 11th I am going to perform at the biggest Hong Kong Festival Clockenflap. Cathay Pacific Stage at 19:45
October 20th - I am performing at the festival - New Beats in DB ( Discovery Bay, North Plaza at 5:30
October 14th - concert - workshop at Yoga Bam Bam at 13:00
I know everyone is creative. Everyone can sing. It is singing workshop, where we will start with meditation using ancient instruments and will focus on ourselves to open for a new experience. We will have fun changing vocal lines, clapping and snapping, creating a beauty together. At the end of a session we will create a song together.
When we sing together we become one beautiful, powerful voice of the humanity.

September 23rd I am going to perform at The Iris Your Escape Yoga Festival. At 2:15
September 15th - I will sing my music using a looper and ancient instruments at the festival DreamChasers in Discovery Bay ( North Plaza) at 16:00
July 14th I am performing at the big Japanese festival PARK JAZZ LIVE ( Sapporo, Japan). Together with guitar player Kenji Takiguchi I will sing my original songs.
We are under number 14.
July 12th I am going to perform my original songs in Japan, Niseko.
May 25th I am going to perform at the charity concert dedicated to women. We will start at 20:00.

April 20th - Yana Fortep will perform at the fashion show of Go Nat's and Kos Cos.
She will use a variety of unique instruments ( as tibetian singing bowls), effects and looper creating original sounds of her songs about peace, love, forgiveness and compassion..
